WhisperPower spun off from Mastervolt , now owned by Brunswick Corporation (USA)

Founded in 2007 and based in Drachten, The Netherlands, WhisperPower 's ongoing mission is to provide grid-independent power systems to promote a cleaner, brighter future. WhisperPower launched the first edition of low-emission hybrid diesel generators in 2009, whose quiet operation and energy efficiency had an immediate impact on marine, mobile and off-grid applications.

The company has since built up a portfolio of associated power products for use in off-grid locations on land and at sea. These products are assembled in their 5500m² factory and distributed worldwide through an ever-growing network of highly skilled and passionate distributors and resellers. Many of WhisperPower 's customers are blue chip organizations where environmental thinking has become an important part of their social governance.

WhisperPower is an international leader in the development, production and maintenance of modern zero-emission solutions such as OctoPower, as well as diesel generators to cover the electricity demand of hotels and the emergency power supply of electric propulsions. WhisperPower products are used all over the world in places that are (temporarily) without normal electricity. This includes motorboats/yachts, commercial vessels, many types of vehicles and remote locations. With the increase in energy consumption comes a demand for (green) energy solutions.

With a significant share of the marine, commercial, leisure and land mobile markets, WhisperPower continues to grow. It does this with the help of its own Internet TV channel – WhisperTV, as well as its unique Whisper online training program and this brand new advanced website to help customers with all areas of WhisperPower technology.
