Victron Charger Skylla-TG 24/50 GMDSS 120-240V
The Victron Skylla-TG 24/30 and 24/50 GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress & Safety System) chargers have been designed to provide all necessary monitoring and alarm data. Both the battery and the GMDSS system are connected directly to the charger. Data and alarms are displayed on a digital panel (VE.Net GMDSS panel to be ordered separately) A standard 8-wire UTP cable connects the charger to the panel.
The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) was developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to improve maritime distress and safety radiocommunications and procedures. This system is subject to to specific power supply requirements.
The Skylla TG charger has a proven track record of reliability and is ideal for supplying power to GMDSS devices. It is however necessary to add to the charger the regulatory equipment allowing the control and safety functions.
The Skylla TG GMDSS is equipped with all the necessary control and safety functions. The reserve battery and the GMDSS device are connected directly to the charger. Data and alarms are displayed (in English) on the screen of a specific display board (VE.Net GMDSS board, to be ordered separately). A standard UTP cord connects the board to the charger.
