Liontron LifePO4 batteries are a complete 12V lead acid battery replacement with all the benefits of lithium iron phosphate. It offers significant weight reduction, huge energy reserves and stable tension even under extreme loads.
The new LIONTRON® LX Arctic battery is the first LiFePO4 battery that can be used even in arctic temperatures down to -30°C. Other lithium batteries usually stop working as soon as the temperature drops to 0°C.
The system comprises two energy-efficient heating elements controlled by the battery management system (BMS) fully automatically. Thanks to the charging current, the latter maintain the temperature of the cells above the freezing point, thus allowing the battery to be used even under extreme conditions.
This makes the LIONTRON® LX Arctic battery the ideal choice for traveling in colder climates and allows the accumulator to be installed in the unheated part of the vehicle, for example in the battery compartment.
The Arctic upgrade is available for all LIONTRON® LX models with a capacity of 100 Ah or more.
The storage battery has been specially developed to fully meet the high demands placed on a storage battery today. Highest safety and a long service life are guaranteed even with regular deep discharges thanks to the latest lithium technology. It enables extremely high cycle life (more than 3000 cycles at 90% DoD) and makes LIONTRON® batteries the optimum traction battery.
The battery is only suitable for 12V installation. A parallel connection to increase the capacity is possible (series connection at for example 24V is not possible).

With the integrated Bluetooth 4.0 monitoring, you always have all important battery data in view on your smartphone or tablet. Among other things, the app displays the following data in real time:

▪ Charge/discharge current
▪ Remaining capacity
▪ Battery temperature
▪ Number of charge/discharge cycles
To connect the battery to the smartphone / tablet, the device must support Bluetooth version 4.0.
